چکیده
Background & Objective: Differential diagnosis between cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) and metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) in the liver is difficult so far, no specific immunohistochemical marker reported to differentiate these two tumors. Considering existing literature, level of expression Annexins (Annexin A1, 10 13) have been studied for differential tumors by molecular methods promising results reported. Therefore, this study, we tried investigate value three CCA PDA liver. Methods: The articles that research subject years (2009-2019), including 45 cases 50 were evaluated considering presence or absence AnnexinA1 (ANXA1), Annexin A10 (ANXA10) A13 (ANXA13) immunohistochemistry, investigated. Results Conclusion: This study showed, ANXA1 was positive both CCA, ANXA10 ~60% ~40% cases, ANXA13 mostly negative groups. best sensitivity found cytoplasmic nuclear (80% 84%, respectively) distinguish from vice versa. specificity observed CCA. Also, had PDA. Our investigations showed that, probably can classify correctly, but it cannot discriminate fair apparently a high help narrow-down diagnoses.

conclusions the findings of this study reveal that both arg-1 and gpc-3 are helpful ihc markers to separate hcc from cc and ma. furthermore, arg-1 shows 100% sensitivity and 82.6% specificity for the diagnosis of hcc whereas gpc-3 demonstrated 97.7% sensitivity and 91.3% specificity for the diagnosis of this tumor. results arginase-1 and gpc-3 demonstrated diffuse staining, as reactivity in > 9...
متن کاملDifferential cell cycle and proliferation marker expression in ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma and pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN).
AIMS Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive tumour following a multistep progression model through precursors called pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN). Identification of reliable prognostic markers would help in improving survival. The aim of this study was to investigate the role as well as the prognostic significance of different cell cycle and proliferation markers, namely p21, p27, p...

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

RUNX3 Controls a Metastatic Switch in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma
For the majority of patients with pancreas cancer, the high metastatic proclivity is life limiting. Some patients, however, present with and succumb to locally destructive disease. A molecular understanding of these distinct disease manifestations can critically inform patient management. Using genetically engineered mouse models, we show that heterozygous mutation of Dpc4/Smad4 attenuates the ...
